Heirloom Popcorn
This heirloom white popping corn is organically grown in southern West Virginia by Bluestone Mountain Farm. It is a hull-less variety that pops into a delicious crispy snack.
To pop, we recommend: heating a heavy-bottomed pan over medium-high heat. Pour a single layer of kernels and enough oil to coat the whole layer of seeds. Optional: sprinkle a dash of turmeric over the kernels to add the classic movie-theater popcorn yellow! Cover and allow to pop until the pops are 5 seconds apart. Turn off the heat and pour popcorn into a bowl. Then, if desired, melt 2 Tablespoons of butter in the pan and pour over popcorn, tossing to coat and sprinkle with salt.
